People and companies have great ideas and resources, and yet many of them fail in reaching their goals. Several things can ensure team plans come true: good decisions, good performance, and good management. And most of the time it is about people and team leaders.

Gallup study of 2.5 million manager-led teams in 195 countries says, that only 1 of 10 managers has the necessary skills, and about 5 of 10 can become successful managers if they are given knowledge and tools. Accidental managers need tools and guidance to make their teamwork, perform well and achieve.

Indeed there are many HR systems and tools around, and they all have their blind spots:

  • Many are limited in functionality and flexibility

  • Large ones pursue mostly reporting purposes

  • Long-existing ones are slightly ideologically outdated

  • Many new ones lack people management basics

And basically, they are mostly built to help HR manage their area of responsibility, the real key demands of the teams are not addressed fully. Even if a company or a team wants to have complete people management automation, a proper functional mix needs several different systems and tools. It becomes hardly manageable, complicated, and really expensive. 

This is where the idea of TeamMagic was born. 

What if we reinvent the wheel? We decided to create a functionally well-balanced HRS system, that addresses key needs of teams and companies and doesn't cost a fortune.

TeamMagic is a modular SaaS solution for small teams and large distributed companies - it can scale to your needs.

The Core module will cover all the essential needs – there is an abundant mix of functionality to support day-to-day People operations. We created this mix to give users best HR practices, that really work and make your life easier: from employee data management and goal setting to evaluation, check-ins and feedback.

A small team may stay there, but bigger teams and companies can expand functionality with additional modules to automate talent acquisition, people development, HR financials and budgeting.

It is all based on our philosophy, that formed over the decades of our own hands-on experience with different companies and in different industries.

The business logic is almost all there for the Core module. The rest of the modules and some of the future features of the Core are in the backlog, all thought through.
We aim at launching the MVP of the Core module within 6 months from the start of development (hopefully till the end of 2021). Other modules will follow sequentially the Core module each within a 3-6 months timeframe.

The idea and all the Product logic is driven by Vlad Vikulov

Vlad is an expert leader with over 20 years of professional background in Operational excellence and Human Capital Management.

On the way through his career, Vlad accumulated tons of hands-on experience in companies from the Financial industry and IT (enterprise software and game development).

Having a deep understanding of the market and customer needs and employing his business acumen, Vlad is focused on practical outcomes and real business impact, and the track record proves it.

And yes - in a way he wants to make the world a better place through helping companies to succeed, team leaders to develop their skills, and creating an honest and transparent business environment.
